The Young Adult Membership Option

We’re updating a few details around PBRR membership options this year. Standard Individual memberships remain $40 per year, and Family memberships remain $50 per year.

With Run 4 The Pies coming up, we get a huge surge in both race sign-ups and membership renewals. As a reminder, the Family membership is intended for up to two parents and up to three children under 18 living in the same household. Over the past few seasons, we’ve seen some creative workarounds—like listing aunts, uncles, or roommates as “children” to get the race discount.

To bridge the gap for college students and young adults who have aged out of a junior family plan, we’re introducing a Young Adult Membership for $25 per year.

Much like standard healthcare rules, this rate is available for runners under age 26. It gives older kids of current members an affordable way to stay connected to the club without relying on improper family sign-ups.

When you renew your membership this season, please pick the category that best matches your actual household, and encourage the young adult runners in your life to take advantage of this new discounted tier!

PBRR Sponsors Largest Cross Country Meet in Florida!

“You had to be there!”

What a day! Over three thousand runners came to challenge the newly-dedicated Rick Rothman Cross Country course in Boca Raton’s South County Regional Park. PBRR was a sponsor of the event, each athlete received and ran with a PBRR labelled bib.

We had our colorful tent in the middle of teams form all over the state. We spoke with kids, parents and coaches telling them about the support we bring to younth runners in our community. We distributed samples of shirts, medals and decals from our three marquee races. It was terrific fun learning from the runners how they performed in the races, what schools they were from, and how long they had been running. Some achieved new personal records and a whole bunch came home muddy and smiling from the rain soaked course. We enjoyed a beautiful sunny morning for this race, but the night before saw several inches of rain on the course.

This again for 2026!

We have begun the meetups to explain what we do to help runners & walkers complete or compete in this year’s hometown race. We have two more info sessions coming in mid August, then the training begins at the end of August. First timers, experienced runners, all are welcome! Keep tabs on this website and/or our Facebook and Instagram sites to lear when and where our next FREE meetups will be. You’ll see dates, times and addresses posted soon – One in central WPB, one in the North County area.

Global Running Day 2026 

We will meet, run/walk for 2-3 miles then have social time at DAS Beer Garden. We start running at 6:30 pm, arrive a little earlier to be in our group photo!

Terrific showing at Boston Marathon for PBRR Athletes

Our group did very well at the 130th Boston Marathon! 20 runners came up for the event, supported by family and friends. 53% of this year’s Boston Marathoners requalified for next year in the race. Our group broke the curve — we had 80% of our runners achieve a BQ time in the race! Special recognition to our Women’s Masters Team – PBRR Fast Ladies came in 5th out of 31 teams with their stellar performances across many age groups!

Fearless Track Club Meet
West Boynton Middle School

Palm Beach Roadrunners is a proud sponsor of the Fearless Track Club. Kids in Elementary and Middle School receive expert coaching in track events, run training and sportsmanship. They conclude each season with a track meet, allowing them to show their training and speed on the track in front of their parents and friends.
