Boston Marathon 2026
Terrific showing at Boston Marathon for PBRR Athletes

Our group did very well at the 130th Boston Marathon! 20 runners came up for the event, supported by family and friends. 53% of this year’s Boston Marathoners requalified for next year in the race. Our group broke the curve — we had 80% of our runners achieve a BQ time in the race! Special recognition to our Women’s Masters Team – PBRR Fast Ladies came in 5th out of 31 teams with their stellar performances across many age groups!

Fearless Track Club Meet
West Boynton Middle School

Palm Beach Roadrunners is a proud sponsor of the Fearless Track Club. Kids in Elementary and Middle School receive expert coaching in track events, run training and sportsmanship. They conclude each season with a track meet, allowing them to show their training and speed on the track in front of their parents and friends. It’s a very impressive program, one that can and should be replicated throughout our county! Below are some photos from the event…

Fearless Track Club Youth Meet
The Fearless Track Club “Finale Meet” and Parent’s Day
Friday, Oct 24th, 5:30 pm -7:30 pm
West Boynton Middle School

All PBRR members are invited to attend this event. See the program and the kids we support!
This is one of the Youth Running initiatives that your Palm Beach Roadrunner membership supports.

The Fearless Track Club mission:
At Fearless Track Club, we aim to inspire young athletes through the joy of track. We focus on building confidence and resilience in children while they learn the fundamentals of track and field.
For their Fearless Finale, the Cheetahs will close out Season 2 with a “glow in the dark” themed mini-meet. Going from station to station, these young runners will review the skills they practiced this season. Additionally, the younger group will compete in two events, while our older group will compete in three events.
If you’d like to see the next generation of runners practicing their craft, come and spend some time cheering for them. We know they will appreciate our attendance and support of their event.
West Boynton Middle School is just off Florida’s Turnpike at the Boynton Beach exit. Let’s have a great showing from the PBRR family!

HSS Move Better Lab visits our Saturday Run
Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) brought their “Move Better Lab” equipment to evaluate our runners last Saturday, Oct 11th. The evaluations were provided free to all interested runners and walkers after the workout at Juno Beach’s Dunkin Donuts.

Each participant was asked to perform simple stretches and movements on two activity pads. These pads were linked to a processor that captured the subject’s movement, balance and timing. The results will be privately emailed to each of our runners. Along with the results the runners will be sent specific videos and recommended exercises to try for more efficient performance. Between 40-50 people took part in the assessment exercises, it was a nice showing!
HSS has done this type of event for the New York Road Runners before. After their visist with us, they bring the Move Better Lab equipment to the NYC Marathon Expo for the attendees prior to the race.
Have a look at the photos below to see how the event transpired. HSS looks to bring the evaluation equipment back to our area in January for additional testing and “re-testing” of individuals to note any changes and improvements.
