RACE DAY INFO
Welcome to the 17th Annual Classics by the Sea
Countdown for the Classics by the Sea starts NOW and below is some valuable information that all registered runners should be aware of both for race day and prior to the race.
REGISTRATION
Online registration is now closed.
Friday December 12: Register at TriBikeRun on Donald Ross road in Juno beach from 3-6pm.
Race day registration starts at 6am.
PACKET PICKUP
Friday, December 12th at TriBikeRun from 3-6pm, 13975 US Hwy One, Juno Beach (Next to Thirsty Turtle) Race Day at race site starting at 6AM until race start.
LOCATION
Race starts and ends at Carlin Park, located South of Indiantown Road on State Road A1A.
DIRECTIONS
Exit I-95 Indiantown Road. Proceed east and over the Intracoastal to A1A. Turn right and the park is quarter mile on your left.
Roads close at 7AM
RACE START TIMES
Kids 1 Mile: 7:10AM
5K Race: 7:40AM
10K Race: 7:30AM
***Do no remove CHIP from the back of your BIB***
PARKING
Roads will close promptly at 7AM so please plan accordingly. Parking will be difficult so please allow yourself extra time prior to the start of the race.
SHIRTS
Shirt sizes will be distributed to all those that have already registered based on the size that was
chosen. NO EXCHANGES until after the race based on whatever shirts sizes remain. All shirts not picked up by 7:30AM will be available for shirt size exchange.
No shirts will be mailed out to those that do not pick up their bibs/shirts. Please register early next year for guaranteed shirt!!!
FINISH TIMES
Finish times will be posted near the finish line. This is the same location that awards will be presented as well. If you must leave and are an award recipient an email will go out as to where awards can be picked up.
RESULTS
Results will also be posted at http://accuchip.racetecresults.com/results.
AWARDS
Please note that overall winners will be scored by gun time and everyone else in the race including age group winners will be scored using net chip time.
5K/10K:Overall Male & Female; Overall Master (40+) Male & Female; Overall Grand Master (Age 50 +)
Male & Female; 10 & Under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 & Over
Kids 1 Mile: Overall Male & Female; 4 & under; 5-7; 8-10
PORT-O-LETS 2 locations. North of Baseball Field and on hill near Lazy Loggerhead Café.
FINISHER MEDALS
For the third year in a row there are medals for all finishers. For those of you that may not want a medal yes you can decline a medal and move on to cheer on the other finishers.
